Stuart is principal analyst in Ovum’s energy & sustainability team.
Stuart has worked in Ovum’s commercial verticals team since May 2008, and is responsible for our utilities workstream. Stuart collaborates closely with analysts within Datamonitor’s Energy & Sustainability business unit as well as horizontal analysts within the wider Ovum group, to provide both vendor and utility clients with superior technology analysis.

He has managed consultancy projects including advising a European utility on its shared services strategy; a vendor on its potential opportunities within emerging technology associated with utilities; a communications company on current market opportunities in UK utility companies; the current opportunities for an enterprise content management vendor within utilities; the sizing of market opportunities in European offshore oil & gas; and a market sizing project for AMI technologies.
Stuart has 15 years’ experience as an analyst, mostly within financial and professional services institutions. He has worked in the corporate finance, management consultancy, real estate, and legal sectors, and has wide experience in both financial modeling and market analysis.
