Following the 11 September terrorist attacks, business continuity issues have risen to a high level of prominence but spending levels have not risen to such an extent. However, in a world of tight IT budgets, most organisations have made a modest increase in their spend on business continuity. Throughout June and July 2002, Ovum interviewed and surveyed 90 IT professionals from a range of larger end-user organisations, predominantly in Europe.

Your key issues addressed

Our research shows that larger organisations are reviewing how they operate their IT systems, but not what business services they offer. This report covers the key business continuity issues including:

  • How are organisations affected by their security concerns?
  • Systems security and data loss
  • Storage and planning
