Following the 11 September terrorist attacks, business continuity issues have risen to a high level of prominence but spending levels have not risen to such an extent. However, in a world of tight IT budgets, most organisations have made a modest increase in their spend on business continuity. Throughout June and July 2002, Ovum interviewed and surveyed 90 IT professionals from a range of larger end-user organisations, predominantly in Europe.
