Dr Rachel Hayward, Consultant
Dr Rachel Hayward is a consultant in Ovum’s London Office. She is an economist with experience in consultancy and research in the telecommunications and broadcasting sectors. Rachel has worked on projects involving competition and regulation issues, business strategy and auction design.
Since joining Ovum, Rachel has worked on projects involving analysis of roaming charges, mobile termination rates and retail line rental. She has also written profiles of telecoms regulation in a number of countries.
Prior to joining Ovum, Rachel worked for DotEcon, where she provided advice on a range of regulatory issues, including the design of price controls, market analysis and transfer pricing. She also provided support to European telecommunications regulators in the design and implementation of a number of spectrum auctions.
Rachel holds a BSc (First Class Honours) and MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
