Peter Hall, Principal Analyst

Peter Hall is a Principal Analyst with over 20 years' experience in the telecoms industry. Peter is a member of Ovum's Enterprise research practice.

Peter's main area of focus is the impact of IP communications on the enterprise. He led the launch of Ovum's IP-Enterprise research activities and frequently presents on IP communications at international conferences and client events.

Peter has authored numerous Ovum reports in the areas of enterprise IP networking, IP telephony and unified communications. He has also undertaken a number of international client consulting assignments in market strategy, enterprise customer requirements and the evolution of enterprise products and services.

Before joining Ovum in late 1998, Peter was a senior marketing manager with BT and was responsible for its business IP portfolio. He has extensive experience in market strategy, product marketing, product development and customer services.

Peter has an MA from the University of Cambridge and is a chartered engineer and member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
