 Matthew Howett, AnalystMatthew Howett is an analyst in Ovum's regulatory practice, which provides strategic regulatory advice to fixed and mobile operators and national regulatory bodies around the world. His work includes the benchmarking of interconnection, the tracking of regulatory developments and associated economic analysis. Current areas of interest include functional/structural separation, next-generation access, spectrum policy and the lively debate around net neutrality. Matthew is frequently quoted in the international press and has recently spoken at a Westminster eForum event on the topic of the European Framework Review. As well as producing ongoing research, he also contributes to regulatory consulting projects. Prior to joining Ovum he completed an internship working as an analyst on a competitor analysis project within BT Global Services. Matthew holds an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
