John Lively, Vice President, Forecasting

John Lively, vice president of Forecasting, is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of Ovum's market forecasts and market share analyses across all telecoms markets and regions. John also leads Ovum's coverage and analysis of vendor services and wireless backhaul. His recent studies have addressed vendor services, the future of the network equipment provider, and market opportunity assessments for second-tier wholesalers in the US. John's 20 years of telecoms experience span the fields of optical components and fibers, broadband access, and optical transport.

Prior to joining Ovum RHK in 2000, John held various market analysis and product marketing roles within Corning Inc.'s fiber and photonics divisions. He holds a masters degree in Management from MIT, and a BA from Amherst College.
