John Lively, Vice President, Forecasting and Analysis

John Lively, VP Forecasting and Analysis, leads Ovum's coverage and analysis of wireless backhaul, global capex and vendor intelligence. John also oversees all of Ovum's network infrastructure and components market forecasts and market share reports. His recent studies have addressed vendor managed services, the future of the network equipment provider, and market opportunity assessment for second-tier wholesalers in the US. John's 18 years of telecoms experience spans optical components and fiber, broadband access, and optical transport.

Prior to joining Ovum RHK in 2000, John held various market analysis and product marketing roles within Corning Inc's fiber and photonics businesses. He holds a Masters degree in Management from M.I.T., and a B.A. from Amherst College.
