Tola Sargeant, Senior Analyst

Tola Sargeant is lead health analyst with the PublicSector@Ovum advisory service and a senior analyst within the Government Practice at Ovum. Her areas of expertise include the UK public sector market for software and IT services and, in particular, the fast changing healthcare IT market.

Tola leads Ovum's relationship with NHS Connecting for Health (NHS CFH), providing market intelligence and supplier liaison services to the agency in charge of the £6bn National Programme for IT in the NHS.

As a senior analyst with the Public Sector team at Ovum, Tola also tracks developments across the UK government sector as a whole. Her recent research has included analysis of the changing shape of the local government application market and the evolving UK public sector shared services market.

During her time at Ovum, Tola has also worked on varied projects for Ovum Consulting. Typical assignments have included advising venture capitalists on potential investments in the UK IT services sector and providing advice to software and services companies hoping to break into the UK public sector market.

Tola is frequently quoted in the trade and business press and has spoken at a number of conferences on IT in the UK public sector. She has an MSc in International Business from Manchester School of Management and a BSc (Hons) in Russian and Economics with International Business.
