David Rogerson, Associate Principal Consultant Telecoms Regulatory Practice

David Rogerson is an Associate Principal Consultant in Ovum's Telecoms Regulatory Practice. He is renowned worldwide as a leading advisor to regulators and operators on access and interconnection, pricing, universal service and number portability. With 21 years of consultancy experience, he has advised many of the world's leading telecommunications companies.

In his 18 years with the company, as well as garnering a wealth of consulting experience, David has worked on many Ovum reports and research assignments. For example, he has authored reports on mobile termination rates, local loop unbundling, cost-based interconnection, number portability and broadband pricing.

David joined Ovum in 1988 after a spell at another UK telecoms consultancy, Logica. He holds a first class Mathematics degree from Cambridge University in the UK.

David's consultancy expertise covers a broad range of regulatory subjects, but clients have primarily sought his advice on regulatory frameworks, interconnection arrangements, cost modelling, universal service, numbering and number portability.
