- For OFTA, Hong Kong: Review of the processes associated with typhoon warnings compared to overseas arrangements, having regard to the effects on the capacity mobile networks to cope with extreme and unplanned peaks in traffic.
- For OFTA, Hong Kong: Review of the forecasting, ordering and provisioning processes for interconnection link and port capacity to ensure practical outcomes equitable to both access providers and access seekers.
- For a fixed operator in Hong Kong: Conduct of a senior management workshop to examine strategic options and plans for expanding the business in Hong Kong and regionally, in terms of partnering, product focus and leveraging from other strengths.
- For various regulatory agencies in the region, including DGT, Taiwan and MCMC, Malaysia: Review the National Numbering Plan to ensure that future number availability will be adequate, and that the development of future, innovative and convergent services will not be compromised or delayed. In the case of Malaysia, the review extended to the development of electronic addressing plans.
- For a major mobile operator in South Korea: Development of comprehensive top down and bottom up LRIC cost models for the mobile network for use in determining appropriate interconnection and other access charges.
- For the regulator in China: Working through the Academy for Social Sciences, development of top down and bottom up LRIC cost models for both fixed and mobile networks to assist in interconnection pricing decisions.
- For the IDA in Singapore: Development of a bottom up LRIC network cost model to assist in the determination of prices for Interconnection Related Services and Tail Local Leased Circuits.
- For the Centre for Economic Policy Development and DGT, Taiwan: Review and recommendation on the arrangements for introducing fixed network competition, and the licensing and other consequences to be managed.
