As of 1 July, Claude Flükiger has assumed general management of Itelligence AG Switzerland. He has been with the company since 1999. As key account manager, Flükiger was responsible for major customers and the SAP NetWeaver business unit. His predecessor, Armin Frei, has become president of the administration board of the Swiss Itelligence operation.
Comment: It is worthwhile noting that Itelligence has filled the position internally by promoting Claude Flükiger. This is a positive sign for Itelligence's employees who are encouraged to pursue a career at Itelligence. From a company perspective, it ensures that experienced staff are retained and that customers enjoy continuity.
For Itelligence this is an important appointment, since Itelligence has high hopes for its small Swiss operation, into which it invested considerably during last year by opening a new data processing centre - the fifth of its kind. By doing so, Itelligence addressed the increasing demand for outsourcing services in the field of small to medium-sized companies and expanded its service portfolio. Itelligence is now offering its entire portfolio in Switzerland as well. In addition, it has hired more consultants.
Having all this in place, Itelligence must be more than eager to ensure a smooth transition! It looks like Flükiger is a good choice. Having spent the last seven years successfully at Itelligence, he has worked closely alongside his predecessor. His nomination guarantees continuity in customer relationship management. To this, Flükiger brings a thorough understanding of the customer's needs, based on which he aims to further expand the existing business.
